Fire & Life Safety Education

The City of Fort Myers Fire Department provides education to the community in various formats. Through community outreach and risk reduction efforts we aim to provide effective fire and life safety education to the community.

Some of the programs the Fort Myers Fire Department provides are:

  • Station Tours
  • Fire Truck Demonstrations
  • Fire Safety Education Classes
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Classes
  • Home Fire Safety Survey
  • Fire Extinguisher Training

There is a minimum of 2 weeks' notice required for scheduled presentations.

FREE SMOKE ALARM INSTALL

The Fort Myers Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide free installation of smoke alarms.  Use the link to sign up for a smoke alarm and you will be contacted to schedule a date.
