Emergency Management is responsible for assisting the City of Fort Myers in preparing for all natural and man-made disasters through preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. The Emergency Management Division is tasked with maintaining the city Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP), organizing city response to events, and preparing the community for emergencies.
